About

A reporting desk under a famous skyline

Content Pathline works from 92 Whitchurch Road in Emley. The transmitting station on the horizon is a useful landmark and a frequent source of confusion. We write quality packs for public mobile and fibre access — a different plant from that structure — and we say so early in the document.

Why the work exists

SLA meetings still stall on a screenshot, a blended percentage, or a chart whose formula changed after a vendor patch. Operators, MVNOs and enterprise account teams in the United Kingdom need a dated pack with a frozen dictionary, an exception list, and a short narrative a chair can read on a train to Leeds.

We do not retune cells, chase vendor tickets, or run drive crews. We read the extracts you already produce and write what they will and will not support. That limit is the point of the practice.

How we work

Kick-off is a scoping note, not a workshop marathon. Sana freezes names, formulas, busy hours and exclusions. Marta draws the charts and lists missing PM files in an appendix. Owen writes the two pages the chair will actually read. The walkthrough call is forty-five minutes in the week of delivery.

We use UK English in the packs, local time in busy-hour labels, and geography that a non-engineer can check. “Kirklees cluster” needs a cell list. “Rural” does not.

Who marks the packs

Marta Ellison

Quality reporting analyst

Marta prepares the monthly packs and incident reconstructions. She spent years reading UK OSS extracts for radio access and still insists the dictionary freeze happens before the first chart.

Owen Hargreaves

Briefing writer

Owen turns exception tables into the two-page narrative and the quarterly board set. He lives near the Emley office and writes for chairs who will not sit through a cell dump.

Scoping and dictionary freeze

Sana runs the kick-off notes: SLA clauses, busy-hour definitions, and which cabinets or sectors sit outside the contract. She is the person who will send back an extract that still contains a test APN.
